French Club

In year 4 Miss Smithson has started a French club. We had fun making fruits by pastels, paints, water colours, collage and potato printing. In the lower school, we have started to make a display, a fruit shop. It is coming on very well (and that is why we have done the fruits). We have learnt as many fruits as we can (e.g. peach, apple, banana and pineapple). Every week we have Mrs Dalton to help us out. We have also learnt songs and poems with visitors to listen to us (e.g. Mrs Sylvester). One of the songs we have learnt was heads shoulders knees and toes. Amazingly, we have learnt hello, bye, how are you and, reply for how are you, what is your name, reply for what is your name etc. French club is on every Tuesday 3:15-4:30. Mrs Smithson gets us the best games and beyond belief crafty stuff. We also play ‘French Bingo’ which is beyond fun!
